Veterans PREVAIL

The Veterans PREVAIL research team is focused on improving health outcomes for our military veterans.

Veterans face a unique set of exposures in addition to normal health risk factors and comorbidities that can lead to elevated risks for developing chronic disease, including cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

Our work in the Veterans PREVAIL lab seeks to identify modifiable risk factors for intervention with the ultimate goal of reducing chronic disease risk related to heart and brain health.

Community Engagement and Outreach

Our team has a community-focused approach to research, working together with members of the community and key stakeholders to develop and implement research studies that address the needs of those most at risk for adverse cardiovascular and brain health outcomes.

We are always looking for community engagement opportunities. If you would like someone from our research team to speak with your group, please contact us using the form below.
